 Mick Chegwidden - guitar, mandolin, and dobro
Mick Chegwidden is a multi instrumentalist and one the fortunate few who get to do what they're passionate about for a living. He arrived on the scene in Portland, OR at age 19 and has been a perennially working musician ever since. He has preformed in numerous bands and shared the stage with so many talented performers including: Jaida Dreyer, De La Soul, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Chis Ledoux, Brian White, Joe Nichols, Charles Neville, Blake Shelton, Tony Furtado, Willy Mac,and Kelly Joe Phelps.
Mick recently left the Great Pacific Northwest behind to come home to Country's promised land, Nashville, TN. His musical style is rooted in Counrty, Americana, and Bluegrass but his talents have brought him expericence with many genres including Rock, Funk, Jazz, Punk, Latin, African Highlife, Irish, Folk, and all sorts of Roots Music.
Mick's second love after playing music is teaching it. He teaches Mandolin, Guitar, and Dobro to students of all ages and skill levels. Lessons include everything from basic technique and music theory to ear training and songwriting, all in a fun relaxed atmosphere. Lear to play what you love!

Justin Kalk - Guitar/Bass
Justin Kalk, a Guitarist, Singer and Composer, is unarguably one of the most exciting emerging guitarists of 2009. Justin picked up guitar at age 12 and has performed in music festivals and large venues since the age of 15. Justin was blues raised, jazz trained and classically arranged by early High School. Shortly, he was tested into the top 6 entering guitarists at Boston's Berklee College of Music in 2003.
Justin teaches Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Guitar as well as Music Theory Lessons here at White Bluff Music. He is very fluent in Rock, Blues, Jazz and Country styles. His curriculum consists of everything from learning your favorite songs and guitar riffs to Chord Theory, Scales, Arpeggios, Modes, Improvisation and Reading Music.

Kristin Weber- Violin/Viola/Fiddle
Kristin Weber began studying classical violin at age 4 and ventured into bluegrass at age 8. Through middle and high school she played in orchestras and symphonies while continuing her pursuit of jazz and folk styles. She attended Berklee College of Music in Boston on scholarship and graduated in December 2007. She then moved down to Nashville with her rock band The Young Republic with whom she has toured the U.S. and the U.K. extensively as well as recording a number of albums.
Kristin teaches beginner and intermediate violin and viola. Her teaching style places a heavy emphasis on correct technique. She will work with you on classical repertoire, bluegrass, old-time, Celtic, country, reading music, music theory and ear training.

Steven Brooks - Drums
Steve plays drums, sings lead and harmony vocals, and plays mandolin. Originally from the New England area, Steve studied drums with the great Alan Dawson, and continued at the University of New Hampshire with one of Alan's previous students, Les Harris Jr. Steve received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Percussion Performance at the University of New Hampshire, were he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Awarded a teaching assistantship at the University of Southern California, he earned his Master’s Degree in Jazz Studies, and received USC’s annual “Jazz Studies Departmental Award” Upon graduation.
Steve grew up on country rock, and enjoys playing all kinds of roots music. Steve is an accomplished performer in a wide variety of musical traditions, ranging from Jazz, Latin, and Funk, to Rock, Country, and the Blues. He has performed with such jazz greats as Eugene Wright, Clark Terry, Sheila Jordan, and Milt Hinton, among many others. His freelance work includes extensive studio experience as a drummer, singer, mandolin player, and co-producer, and his work in musical theater encompasses many Broadway shows - Godspell, Little Shop of Horrors, and Oliver.
With years of experience teaching a concentration on drums, Steve recently moved to Nashville to focus his energies here. Did a bunch of studio work and really loved it, which was (among several other reasons) a big reason for his move to Nashville. He has shared his experience with students ranging from elementary through college levels at Pasadena City College, and at his home studio.
